Hi, I’m Sarah Loux, a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in Montana and Washington with over a decade of experience as a mental health therapist. I specialize in helping individuals and couples heal attachment wounds, navigate relationship challenges, and cultivate emotional resilience. My approach is deeply rooted in attachment science, providing a structured yet compassionate space for self-discovery, healing, and meaningful change.

Healing & Self-Discovery

Our early experiences shape how we connect with ourselves and others. If you find yourself struggling with anxiety, self-doubt, or relationship difficulties, therapy can help you understand and shift these emotional patterns. Together, we’ll explore unresolved attachment wounds, family-of-origin dynamics, and personal barriers that may be affecting your well-being today.

Therapy is a place to reclaim your authentic self—free from shame, self-doubt, and societal pressures. Through our work together, you’ll learn to cultivate self-compassion, confidence, and emotional clarity, allowing you to move forward with greater freedom and self-trust.

Couples Therapy & Relationship Healing

Romantic relationships can be both rewarding and deeply challenging. Whether you’re struggling with communication, emotional disconnection, or past wounds, I help couples understand the underlying emotional cycles that keep them stuck and work toward rebuilding trust, intimacy, and security.

Using Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), we’ll explore how past experiences influence your relationship patterns and develop new ways to engage with your partner that foster connection instead of conflict.

Therapeutic Approach

My approach integrates:
Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) – Strengthening emotional bonds and healing relational wounds.
Internal Family Systems (IFS) – Helping clients connect with and heal different parts of themselves.
Psychodynamic Therapy – Exploring deep-seated emotional patterns for lasting change.

I have completed advanced EFT training, including Externship, Core Skills, and Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy (EFIT), allowing me to provide clients with a specialized, attachment-focused approach to healing.

About Me

Outside of therapy, I enjoy hiking with my husband, practicing mindfulness and yoga, traveling, reading, and a good TV show. I bring warmth, curiosity, and deep engagement into my sessions, creating a space where clients feel truly understood, validated, and empowered.

If you’re ready to gain insight, heal, and build stronger relationships with yourself and others, I invite you to reach out.
