Sarah Marsh, SWLC
Children & Family Therapist
Hi, I’m Sarah Marsh, a Clinical Social Worker Candidate (SWLC) and Family Support Specialist based in Bozeman, Montana. With over a decade of experience working with children and families, I specialize in helping young clients build emotional resilience, navigate life’s challenges, and strengthen connections within their family system.
Supporting Children & Families
My passion lies in helping children and adolescents develop emotional awareness, regulate their emotions, and feel safe in their relationships. Whether your child is struggling with anxiety, behavioral challenges, or emotional regulation, therapy provides a space for them to explore their feelings in a way that fosters growth, confidence, and self-compassion.
Your child’s early experiences shape how they connect with the world. In therapy, we’ll explore attachment, emotional development, and family dynamics that may be impacting their well-being. Together, we’ll focus on strengthening secure relationships, building coping strategies, and fostering a sense of emotional security that supports lifelong well-being.
Parenting & Family Support
Parenting can be deeply rewarding, but it also comes with complex challenges. Whether you're navigating early childhood development, parenting struggles, or changes within the family, I provide parent coaching and guidance to help you create a home environment that promotes security and connection.
I have extensive experience working with parents of children from infancy through adolescence, offering support for challenges such as:
✔ Early childhood emotional and behavioral development
✔ Parent-child attachment and bonding
✔ Family transitions, including divorce or blended family adjustments
✔ Emotional regulation and social skills in children and teens
Therapeutic Approach
My work is rooted in attachment-based therapy, and I integrate a range of evidence-based modalities, including:
✔ Emotionally Focused Family Therapy (EFFT) – Strengthening family relationships and emotional bonds.
✔ Promoting First Relationships & Parents Interacting with Infants and Toddlers – Specialized early intervention for young children and caregivers.
✔ Developmental Assessments – Helping parents better understand and support their child’s growth.
I believe that every child deserves to feel understood, valued, and emotionally supported, and I work closely with parents to ensure that their children feel safe expressing themselves while developing the skills to thrive.
About Me
Outside of therapy, I love culinary experimentation, community volunteering, and exploring Montana’s beautiful landscapes. My personal and professional experiences have shaped my passion for helping families build strong, healthy emotional connections that last a lifetime.
